• Oversee, monitor, and report on the overall safety performance of the organization, driving continuous improvement.
• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the OHS Management System, ensuring certification and ongoing compliance with the ISO 45001 standard.
•Develop, review, and update internal safety rules, procedures, and policies to align with national laws and international standards.
• Create, implement, and regularly drill comprehensive emergency response plans (e.g., fire, medical, chemical spills) to ensure readiness.
• Define, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Safety and Environmental department to measure effectiveness and drive strategic initiatives. • Develop, execute, and monitor the long-term safety master plan, including annual targets and strategic projects.
• Prepare, manage, and control the annual budget for the Safety and Environmental department, ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Plan and conduct engaging safety promotion campaigns, awareness programs, and activities to cultivate a proactive safety culture across the company.
• Design, implement, and manage required safety training programs tailored for all personnel groups (permanent staff, contractors, and outsourced workers) to ensure competence and compliance.
• Develop and mentor team members, creating structured plans to enhance their technical expertise and soft skills (multi-skill development) to strengthen departmental capabilities.
