On December 19, 2024, Aisin Powertrain (Thailand) Co., Ltd. held the "New 2-Speed Transaxle Line off Ceremony" which was honored by the presence of Mr. Thawatchai Sreethong, the Governor of Chonburi,  as the chairman of the ceremony. Executives from Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and various government agencies.The event was also attended by Mr. Noriyuki Kitazato, President of Aisin Group in the ASEAN region, Mr. Masahiro Kamei, President of AIPT, Mr. Ryoji Takami, Director of Aisin Corporation, along with other executives who welcomed the celebration of the company's new product launch.The product is a hybrid system that integrates the operation of both electric and internal combustion engine powertrains. It is the first product manufactured in the ASEAN region by the Aisin Group, marking a milestone of pride in supplying products to leading automotive manufacturers in Thailand.
